JOB TITLE: Business Operations Manager :

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Work with Architects and Senior leadership to Ensure compliance to corporate policies and maintain procedures and policies for your scope, in collaboration with other teams. Contribute to IT operational and release roadmap of planned Platform upgrades and other Maintenance Windows and work with support teams for scheduled Maintenance Windows. Lead effort to Optimize Year over Year Service tickets/Operational incidents/Problem tickets in the JIRA, Apache/WebLogic platforms. Lead/Facilitate meetings with Internal and External teams (MSP, Vendors to develop collaborative approaches to jointly address critical operational incidents and problems. Actively Lead and engage other IT groups and/or Business partners to drive service restoration during Critical incident calls- to restore services as soon as possible with minimal business impact and meet SLA targets. Collaborate with Engineering teams to Automate repeated operational tasks in the above areas to bring consistency and improve productivity. Develop a Quarterly capacity/demand plan to effectively manage current workloads and forecast future needs and staffing needs. Responsible for maintaining and updating application support documentation (including Disaster Recovery). Lead or facilitate and enforce appropriate governance and communication cadence, and balance short-term and long-term strategy development and execution based on the specific needs of the program assigned. Monitor ongoing technology projects and their status. Plan and track engagement with project teams, and open issues from a business continuity policy compliance perspective. Understand project objectives and assess potential business continuity risks and opportunities. Work with project managers and stakeholders to close business continuity compliance gaps. Define and track metrics related to project and system compliance with applicable policies. Provide input to periodic adjustments of business continuity technology policy and controls. Analyze large system configuration data sets to identify risks and opportunities. Assist in building business continuity tools using tools such as SQL and Python. Assist in building reports. Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
